Santa Barbara Women’s Political Committee Virtual “Friendraiser” and Conversation

Dr. Carrie N.  Baker, Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies at Smith College and Contributing Editor for Ms. Magazine, will join online participants in a vital and timely conversation, “ERA: Now?”

Dr. Baker’s primary areas of research are women’s legal history, gender and public policy, and feminist activism. Her many publications include: “The Women’s Movement Against Sexual Harassment” (2007); “Fighting the U.S. Youth Sex Trade: Gender, Race and Politics” (2018); and “Sexual Harassment Law: History, Cases, and Practice” (2020), 2nd Edition.
