Opportunity to participate in Climate Action Plan for SB County

The draft of Santa Barbara County’s 2030 Climate Action Plan (CAP) will be released in February and public workshops will be held on March 1st (Santa Barbara and Santa Maria) and March 7th (virtual).

The County of Santa Barbara Sustainability Division will soon be releasing the Draft 2030 Climate Action Plan for public comment in February. These public workshops have been scheduled to offer the public the opportunity to learn about the history and process and ways to provide feedback.

Please attend to share your thoughts, points of concern, and local knowledge. Both open houses will have a short presentation at the beginning to provide additional background material, but residents are welcome to come anytime and will have the opportunity to learn about key sections of the CAP.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Interpretation support will be available upon request.
