Get hands-on leadership training in climate activism
Community Environmental Council’s UC Climate Stewards certification course teaches how to effectively engage in transformative solutions and apply them directly to climate work on the Central Coast. This 8-week, 40-hour course starts on January 26 and is offered exclusively in Santa Barbara County by the Community Environmental Council. The course was developed and is presented in partnership with the UC Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources California Naturalist program. The course will focus on Central Coast efforts to address and alleviate climate impacts, to build support for a rapid and equitable transition to clean energy, and to provide you with resources and opportunities to become part of this movement. Full scholarships are available and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please contact Kathi King at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
