Degrowth for a New Generation

Post Carbon Institute is pleased to be in conversation with author and researcher, Timothée Parrique, and community organizer and writer, Jamie Tyberg. Degrowth is an idea that critiques the global capitalist system which pursues growth at all costs, causing human exploitation and environmental destruction. Together we will explore what degrowth is (and isn’t), how people are embracing the concept of degrowth, what needs to happen to move degrowth from classrooms to boardrooms and staterooms, and how to confront powerful people and institutions who are trying to keep us pinned to the ruinous growth paradigm.
