PROTECT: The state-wide event will bring together thousands of Californians joining hands in solidarity along our coastline and waterways to demonstrate our opposition to expanded offshore oil drilling and support for a clean-energy future.
The Goals for this Event are to:
- Build support for state, local, and federal actions that protect California’s coastline;
- Secure public commitments from candidates, elected officials, and community leaders to oppose expanded offshore drilling;
- Build and strengthen a broad coalition of community organizations and networks to protect our coast and our democracy.
