Last summer UCSB students created a short documentary film about the Fearless Grandmothers, as part of the Coastal Media Project. It was a joy getting to know the students, and eye-opening to learn about the process of making a short documentary — so many hours of film, condensed down into 15 minutes!
The film was first shown at an end of summer film premiere in UCSB’s Pollock Theater. It has since aired at three film festivals, at University of Southern California, in Seattle, and in Florence, Italy.
