What will Santa Barbarans do when we can’t go to Alameda Park to celebrate Earth Day? We will join people around the world for an innovative online Earth Day.
On April 22-24, 2020, young people and adults will come together for a three-day live stream event focused on climate action. The live stream will include training sessions, performances, and appearances to keep people engaged, informed, and inspired, with speakers including celebrities, politicians, scientists, and youth activists.
Wednesday, April 22 will focus on community, providing comfort and inspiration during this time of quarantine.
Thursday, April 23 will put the spotlight on banks and insurance companies funding fossil fuel development. #StopTheMoneyPipeline
Friday, April 24 will be a nationwide youth voter registration day.
